Africa's acid house scene took root in the late 80's and by 1999 dance music
had blossomed into a vibrant local scene. It was at this time that Truth opened
its doors. Pretoria’s old snake park— a vast venue with both outdoor and indoor
spaces provided the perfect framework for a multi-floor nightclub. The space
was transformed into the nocturnal playground of electronic music its known and
