JOHANNESBURG. On Saturday 1^st  March 2014, 2 of the world's HOTTEST house acts are heading to Johannesburg’s stalwart nightclub, TRUTH for a DAY/NIGHT party which is  shaping up be one of the biggest events at the club this year.

22 year old German house prodigy DAVID AUGUST has become one of the most in-demand acts in electronic music worldwide - his deep, driving, highly melodic 4/4 live set has seen him headlining the globe's top-rated festivals and clubs alongside his DIYNAMIC label buddies Solomun, H.O.S.H, Stimming, Karmon and Adriatique.

Legendary Boston-based duo SOUL CLAP will also bring their floor-conquering blend funk, soul, hip hop and deep house to Truth's terrace alongside a larger than life local line-up including: Phat Jack, 2lani The Warrior, Pop Art, Rob Toca, Jason Wallace, Deader Than Disco and many more.

Now in its fifteenth year, long-serving nightclub Truth is widely regarded as an institution. As a proud purveyor of dance music in all its forms and working with a long list of local and international talents - the club has helped cultivate the city’s flourishing electronic music scene.

South Africa's acid house scene took root in the late 80's and by 1999 dance music had blossomed into a vibrant local scene. It was at this time that Truth opened its doors. Pretoria’s old snake park— a vast venue with both outdoor and indoor spaces provided the perfect framework for a multi-floor nightclub. The space was transformed into the nocturnal playground of electronic music its known and loved as today.

Over the years, Truth has hosted some of the most cutting edge artists in the world including Richie Hawtin, Tiefschwarz, Lee Burridge, Silicone Soul, Edu Imbernon, Stimming, Sister Bliss, Wally Lopez, Conrad Black, Cosmic Gate, Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Style of Eye are only a few names on a long list of acts who have thrilled Truth’s devoted clubbing contingent over the years.
