Further success followed both in the charts and via numerous media accolades, with the duo reaching #1 on the Billboard, Hype Machine, and Beatport charts and becoming the highest ranking female DJs of all time in the influential DJ Mag Top 100 poll. Performing at over 200 shows a year across the globe including some of the world’s most exciting residencies in Vegas and Ibiza, they are equally at home in front of the camera as they are behind the decks. Appearing regularly on covers of magazines and in fashion photo shoots, their unique appeal has lead to a fan base totaling millions across the globe.

Mim and Liv Nervo are Australian born sisters who started their musical journey at the tender age of 7. Spending many years in music school, attending shows, and cultivating a growing appreciation for house music, the girls eventually decided to make the bold move to the UK at the age of 19 to pursue a career in music.

Upon arrival in London, the girls worked 24/7 going from waiting tables and bar tending, whilst simultaneously writing songs in their home studio. Mim and Liv were constantly submitting tracks to labels and publishers hoping for their big break!

“We have a saying that goes, the harder you work, the luckier you get. We think it is a lot of hard work. You just keep working.” - NERVO

That hard work obviously paid off as their writing skills have seen them pen hits for the likes of Ke$ha, Kylie Minogue and Kelly Rowland, with the latter (the Grammy-award winning ‘When Love Takes Over’) being co-written alongside David Guetta - a record that was also voted Billboard’s #1 dance-pop collaboration of all time.

“We met David on Skype and what he didn’t know is that we had already seen him in Ibiza. It was the beginning of a lovely friendship. We remember the very first studio session, where he had this massive studio in Los Angeles, which was a really big thing for us, because we were broke writers. To even be in a studio like that inspired us to work really hard and deliver great work.” - NERVO

In addition to their production skills, Mim and Liv are also extremely talented DJs who regularly headline shows and festivals worldwide, including recent appearances at Ultra Music Festival, TomorrowLand and Ushuaia, Ibiza as well as their residency at Omnia in Las Vegas. With an increasingly hectic schedule, it is hard to imagine how NERVO find time to fulfil their roles as brand ambassadors for Tag Heuer, Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky, and clothing company Franklin & Marshall.

Spending time on the road means the new album ‘Collateral’ was created in a variety of locations and with an impressive, diverse list of collaborators including Nicky Romero, Kreayshawn and Nile Rodgers. Showcasing a refined musical outlook, the album is a deeply personal, sonic journey through all the girls have encountered during their careers to date. Detailing strong themes of heartbreak (‘You’re GonnaLove Again’), girl power (‘Hey Ricky’) and falling in love (‘It Feels) and freeing themselves from the confines of purely club-based music, this debut LP that also showcases the songwriting talent Mim and Liv have continued to hone since their teenage years.

“There is a mix of tracks on the album and all are intended for different purposes. That's the beauty of working on an album! We didn't need to just write tracks for the dance floor; however, all tracks whether they be in their original form or through a remix, will be played in our sets.” - NERVO

The four lead singles to be taken from the album so far, ‘Rise Early Morning’, ‘It Feels’, ‘Haute Mess’ and ‘Hey Ricky’, are all dynamic in their own way, with each accompanied by abstract, off-the-wall videos. ‘Haute Mess’ created by video directorJaakko has produced a colourful, animated dance off, while girl power anthem ‘Hey Ricky’ sees NERVO, Dev, Alisa and Kreayshawn fuse their individual styles on a unique and engaging record.

"This is probably the most fun track on the album. Each of the girls brought their individual flavour with their bad arse vocals. It was an absolute dream working with all of them! Kreayshawn is not only featured but she also directed the music video - which we just love, it was fun to be able to be info-commercial hosts for a day." - NERVO

The album also features some of the tracks that helped to catapult NERVO into superstardom, including their #1 hits ‘Reason’ and ‘Hold On’ to sit alongside a raft of new material including standout track ‘The Other Boys’, featuring Chic’s Nile Rodgers and vocals from Jake Shears & Kylie Minogue.

“After Jake recorded the vocals he was hanging out with Kylie and played her the record, next thing we knew Kylie asked to feature on it. Sean Paul” (Ookay Remix) and Steve Aoki, Chris Lake & Tujamo’s “Boneless” (Ookay Remix). Breaking down the boundaries between hip-hop and dance music, Ookay also achieved mainstream success with releases on Ultra Records charting in the Beatport Top 10. More recently, Ookay teamed up with electronic music superstar Diplo to release their take on Avicii’s “You Make Me” (Ookay & Diplo Remix). With support from main stage giants like Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Diplo, Major Lazer, Borgore, Showtek, Nervo, David Guetta, Chuckie, Kife Party, Dirtyphonics, Krewella, and Adventure Club, Ookay is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Ghost EP Tracklisting:

1. Bringing their trademark BIG ROOM house sound. Born in Melbourne Mim and Liv as their known haven’t held back, with much of their own music being featured on CD one it is the perfect way to commemorate and launch the new album. Other massive names featured include Fatboy Slim, Dutch brothers Showtek, house pioneer Frankie Knuckles and world number 1 Hardwell.

CD 1 kicks off good and proper with Prok & Fitch FT. Max Linen Man With Soul the slow progression is deceptively smooth compelling you tap your feet and bob your head. NERVO waste no time in including their tracks, up 3^rd is Carl Louis & Martin Danielle’s remix of their track, Something to Believe with Norman Doray and Cookie. World number 1 Hardwell is up next with his track together with MAKJ Countdown. The next few tracks carries the mix beautifully, the way Mim and Liv go from their track Like home with Nicky Romero too Mark Knight and Skin’s Nothing matters is nothing short of sublime. Next up the NERVO twins have included some progressive house of legendary proportions, the continuing bass gives you the feeling of flying, it carries you away far from the trivial problems of life noting exists but the music. Just when you’re getting familiar with the euphoric melodies and sweet vocals Mim and Liv drop an absolute monster Bass King vs X-Vertigo remix of their own Not Taking This No More by NERVO, Ivan Gough & the lovely Beverley Knight. Keeping with the theme of massive club anthems the NERVO twins drop Booyah by Dutch electronic masterminds Showtek who made a name for themselves on the Hardstyle scene and are now dropping house bombs like they were born to.

CD 2 takes us back to the old-school with Michael Gray’s legendary Weekend a certain party starter bound to make every house fan sing their heart out. The next few tracks are in my opinion the only tracks that should be considered classic house. Including Wonderland Avenue’s White Horse and Fatboy Slim’s Praise you. After that we hear a track by the guy who pioneered the House sound a very fitting tribute to Warehouse resident DJ Francis Nicholls also known as Frankie Knuckles’ his track Your love is blessed surprise. Tracks to follow include Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand Let me think about it, Hardrive Deep inside and ending with Spinna & Tickla’ club mix of Shaun Escoffery Days like this.

NERVO have done an amazing job doing the ‘Inspired’ compilation, expertly mixed, killer song selection and a 2^nd CD to get all the house fans nostalgic. Out now.

CD 1 - Present & Future Inspirations

Prok & Fitch Ft. Having first established their credentials writing hit records for the likes of Armin van Buuren, Ke$ha and even Kylie Minogue, as well as writing David Guetta & Kelly Rowland’s Grammy award-winning single ‘When Love Takes Over’, NERVO have since gone on to cement themselves as one of the most exciting dance music acts in the world. Liv and Mim are also regular performers on main stages at the world’s biggest music festivals, as well as holding down residencies at Hakkasan Las Vegas and Ushuaia in Ibiza.

Having enjoyed a series of Billboard and Beatport #1 hits including ‘Like Home’ alongside Nicky Romero, a track that topped the charts for three weeks and has since amassed nearly 10 million views on YouTube, 'Hold On', and the recent smash hit ‘Revolution’, NERVO’s inaugural full length outing for Ministry Of Sound thus represents an exciting landmark in an already burgeoning career.

With the compilation series itself giving artists a reputable platform to tell their own story through records, highlighting those that have inspired them most on their respective journeys to the top, NERVO’s mixes offer up compelling new insight into their development as globally acclaimed artists. “We have always followed Ministry Of Sound as a label so, when they came to us with the INSPIRED concept we jumped at the opportunity” say the duo. “Whether they were new artists that we discovered at the time or whether we discovered these tracks while dancing on the Space Terrace in Ibiza, all of these records hold a special place in our journey.”

Due for release on May 19th, their “Inspired” piece spans over two CDs, with the first covering ''Present and Future Inspirations' and the second “Past Inspirations” and explores a fully comprehensive, personal mix of styles and sounds that point to a rich and varied musical upbringing. “Michael Gray's 'Weekend' takes us back to our first summers in Ibiza”, NERVO reflect. “We were living in London at the time, trying to get ahead in music and waitressing. Records like this were an escape from our everyday lives. If we can provide that same kind of escape in our music today then that would be a great achievement.”

With a whole host of classic club tracks from across the wider reaches of electronic music soundtracking their “Past Inspirations” Mix, even including Fatboy Slim’s iconic ‘Praise You’ and the late Frankie Knuckles’ seminal house jam ‘Your Love’, NERVO’s early inspirations are clearly deep-rooted in genuine dance floor culture. “Music is forever evolving but classics are forever with us”, the duo explain. “We have seen the rise of many great producer artists - Fatboy Slim and Fedde Le Grand, the legends - Frankie Knuckles and Julie McKnight, and of course the modern day heavy hitters - Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Showtek. We salute you all!”

Looking to the future, the duo take in a stellar selection of upfront dance floor cuts right across their ‘Present and Future Inspirations’ mix, offering up tracks from the likes of Deorro, Steve Aoki, Showtekand Mercer, as well as hotly-tipped UK duo Dusky and a slew of their own exclusive material. Listen out for incredible new club track ‘Sunshine Thru Rain Clouds’ featuring Duane Harden in particular. “When Ministry Of Sound proposed that we make a track exclusively for INSPIRED, we wanted to work with Duane. We wanted to make something that we could play in our sets today but that also captured his soulfulness that we felt was in keeping with this INSPIRED collection. We hope you guys like it!”

Flawlessly mixed and typically immersive, NERVO’s ‘Inspired’ compilation serves as a fitting follow up to Tommy Trash’s debut “Inspired” piece. Joining the dots between classic dance floor sounds and an innovative new concept, it represents an exciting new chapter for NERVO and continues Ministry Of Sound’s reputation for keeping their ear firmly to the ground.

CD 1 - Present & Future Inspirations

Prok & Fitch Ft.
