His events can only be described by at atmosphere of emotional magic.  Since Lane 8's debut in the electronic scene his name is a name many South Africans have prayed and hoped to see announced on event lineups. Now, 13 years later all the praying and hoping has come to fruition. 

Codigo Tequila proudly presents the launch of Theatre, a new event series bringing global icons to local stages. For their debut edition, they welcome the deeply anticipated Lane 8 – live in South Africa for the very first time. Known for his captivating This Never Happened shows and melodic journeys through house and progressive sounds, Lane 8 is set to deliver an unforgettable experience. Supporting Lane 8 are none other than the Grammy-nominated duo Sultan & Shepard, whose seamless blend of deep, driving beats and emotional energy will set the perfect tone for the night.

Since sharing his debut album ‘Rise’ back in 2015, Daniel has cemented his reputation as one of electronic music’s most prolific and beloved artists. Establishing his own successful label and events brand This Never Happened back in 2016, where Daniel has uncovered and nurtured future stars of the scene such as Jerro, Avoure, and Anderholm, he’s also released three career affirming follow up LPs; including 2018’s ‘Little By Little’ and his, 2020 acclaimed album ‘Brightest Lights’, which racked up over 100 million streams in its first year and was accompanied by a 50,000-ticket world tour, and his latest smash album Childish.
