X continues to establish itself as a premiere underground label with the release of The Cube Guys’ infectious new single, 'Hey You!'. The collaborative effort between Italian legends, Roberto Intrallazzi and Luca Provera, has made waves across the international club circuit since its inception in 2005.
'Hey You!' is an ode to the 90’s house movement that Roberto Intrallazzi helped pioneer in his native country, Italy. Upbeat and mesmerizing throughout its entirety, this effort showcases The Cube Guys’ talent for producing club friendly anthems without sacrificing artistic integrity. The duo infuse ambient, yet soulful vocals amidst a melodic progression that leaves listeners nothing short but hypnotized. The funky percussion patterns and classic house synths craft 'Hey You!' into a wonderfully nostalgic production, capable of appealing to any generation of dance music fandom.
Roberto Intrallazzi has been at the forefront of Italy’s scene since he began DJing and producing in the late 80’s. This transitional period between decades helped the development of his trademark sound, a fusion between old school electro and house. The two initially met in 2000, when Luca Provera was still an up and coming producer fresh in the game.
Possessing a deep understanding of both digital and analogical devices, he quickly became a studio workhorse for many of Italy’s biggest players. The Cube Guys come from vastly different backgrounds, a key component that fosters their creative drive. With a constantly evolving sound, from progressive house to tribal stylings, Roberto Intrallazzi and Luca Provera continue to offer dance music fans a true breath of fresh air.
