Shaun Frank & VanRip "Vagabond" Out Today on Dim Mak Records

Brace yourself for some straight festival fire coming out of Toronto from Shaun Frank and VanRip in their collaboration “Vagabond.” As the title insinuates, the sinuous track refuses to commit to one tempo as it zigzags from frenzied synth stabs to boisterous drum rolls and punchy breakdowns.
Before unleashing electronic gems like “Vagabond,” Shaun Frank was taking center stage as frontman of Toronto rock band The Envy. Since then, he’s lent his sought-after vocals to tracks such as “We Are” on Armada Music and “Unbreakable” on EMI Music which topped out at #1 on the World Dance Music chart. As a remixer, Frank has spanned the gamut of artist remixes, from Lorde and The Neighbourhood to Avicii and Martin Garrix, while upcoming collaborators include Tom Swoon, Borgeous and Paris Blohm. Armed with an extensive cross-genre background and an affinity for live performances, Shaun Frank joins the Dim Mak family as a seriously talented up-and-comer.
His counterpart VanRip are also posed for a bright future. After remixing artists such as Borgeous, Miley Cyrus, Felix Cartal and Clockwork, the pair continues to shape up their aggressive electro sound and their ever-growing resume.
