House music legend Junior Sanchez and rising Indie band, Bad Suns’ brand new track ‘Salt’ aims to add a new style and definition to Steve Angello’s Size Records, steering the label in an exciting and different direction. It’s available on the 11th of August.

Sanchez drops any excess out of the record leaving only the vocal against the backdrop of a funky, robotic baseline laying down the groove for the tack. With uniform piston-like highs and retro synths added to the ethereal indie vocal, Sanchez’ coats the original in a new age disco veneer reminiscent of the years he first began DJing.

A true veteran, Junior Sanchez started out using handed down records linking up his parents stereo system at 11 and soon found himself behind the decks in New York’s thriving underground club scene by the age of 15. Releasing records since the early 90s on seminal labels including Strictly Rhythm, Junior London (under the definitive Boys Own umbrella) and Rufftrack, he was a key figure in the explosion of house music.

Since then his producing and remixing skills have been call on by Madonna, Katy Perry, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, Roisin Murphy, Felix Da Housecat and Jamiroquai amongst countless others, cementing his status as one of the most in demand producers. His own tracks are mainstays at the top of the charts with “Where You Are” and “I Believe In” both #1 Beatport hits to name a few.'

While LA natives Bad Suns might only have been around since 2012 they are producing music well beyond their years and have just released their debut album ‘Language & Perspective.
