With their reputation as two of the most exciting Australian producers about, Indian Summer continue to send waves throughout the global electronic music scene as one of the southern hemisphere’s finest exports. Their most recent ‘Shiner ft. Ginger & The Ghost’, together with it’s epic, hard and wonderfully contrasting B-side‘Palm Kings’ saw the boys catapulted into the public eye with the title track reaching the coveted Hype Machine #1 spot and just today a huge 1 million views on TheSoundYouNeed. Out now via Australia’s hugely influential independent label Sweat It Out, ‘Shiner’ is a unique and textured record with a dark but beautiful vibe. Today, the duo return to give us the official video for this incredible track and unsurprisingly, the boys did not disappoint. Watch the official video here:
Indian Summer’s new video for ‘Shiner’ perfectly portrays the emotion of the track with its ominous tone pervading throughout the runtime. From start to finish the events on screen develop in perfect harmony with the highs, lows and changes within the music, aided greatly by Missy’s poignant vocal that carries the song right to the end. As the track grows, edging forward and building with anticipation, the power and emotion is mirrored by each individual’s onscreen antics and demise. With the already breath-taking track now supported by the truly special video and dance bible MixMag to boot, Indian Summer have created their best cut yet that will only help to cement their place alongside the big boys of Australian electronic music.
