<span style="font-family: inherit;">The inspiration for the video came from Hercules & Love Affair’s founder Andy Butler commenting on the close ties between ballet and dance music. “At the meeting with Defected, the eyes lit up, and I got to write an email to Josh Johnson, my friend at the Forsythe Company inviting him to get involved. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Bernhard Willhelm is a world renowned fashion designer, known for his love of incorporating absurdity into high end design, who lives and works between Vienna and LA. Possibly most known in the music industry through infamous collaborations with Bjork, Willhelm has unleashed the full force of his resplendent creatively on this project. </span></div>

"Andy makes house a home” says Johnson on working on the project. “He invited us into his house and we stayed in comfort. Rapt in his talents and beats, we started to feel the same and along with Alex, Liane and Bernhard we made something really special”.</span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit;">Ahead of his ‘Deep Down & Defected Volume7’ compilation Franky Rizardo drops this three track EP taster, revisiting ‘Freak’ by Sandy Rivera & Haze released back in 2007, ‘In Da Club’ by Copyright feat. Mr V & Miss Patty (2008) and Pete Tong & S.Y.F’s track ‘Dawn’ from 2012. His remix of ‘Freak’ takes the track to a darker, dubbier, place than the original but keeps the intense baseline intact. Rizardo’s edit of ‘In Da Club’ is again darker than its original version, with the hip-hop vocals from Mr V and Miss Patty overlaying a heavy kick and bass combo. ‘Dawn’ is kept slightly closer to its original, with Rizardo giving the cut a new edge with a slowed down version moving away from the more utopian sounding original to something more seductive.</span></div>

It is split into multiple rooms and can hold up to 1250 people, with five bars and lockers to provide guests with a more secure option than coat check. It's equipped with a Void Acoustics soundsystem and features walls lined with lights and a video projection screen.</span></div>

The single is a smooth vocal workout that’s carried by the thick bass tones – a sound that Set Mo have made their own. The breakdowns are filled with a reflective string section and hold the backing for the contrasting plucked leads that fly over the higher ranges. The whole single is a typical Set Mo job – organic elements stacked over a classy House backdrop, giving the production a live feel that would be just as at home by the pool as it is for the after-hours.</span></div>

Wrapping up the EP is ‘Forever’ a slightly more dance floor focused beat that’s less live-sounding than the supporting singles – but every bit as classy. The lead bass is memorable and deceptively high impact at volume. It’s a seriously attractive brand of House and their production values are clearly. With the attention the pair are already receiving in Australia and further beyond – you can bet you’ll be hearing a whole lot more from this prolific production pair.</span></div>
