Simon Hinter - Nomina EP

Simon Hinter drops a three-track EP on Defected sub-label Tenth Circle

 Simon Hinter - Nomina EP
Not giving a fuck about musical rules or principles, Simon Hinter  is serious about his music being his alone, and allowing him to do whatever he wants, whenever. Neither is his small hometown scene of Siegen, Germany, a springwell of talent. Simon’s music is an anomaly that arose not as a result of a scene but from his concentrated efforts as a fun-loving individual with like-minded buddies.
Citing influences such as hip-hop, soul, jazz, funk and rare soundtracks of the sixtees and seventees, Simon identifies himself primarily as a producer, although DJing and his love for these soulful tunes from the past have been cemented in him since age 15.
With previous release on PHIL, Midnight Shift, Amajin Records and Luv Unlimited, Germany's Simon Hinter makes his Tenth Circle debut with Nomina EP. Ranging from the blissful, Innervisions-esque house soundscapes of lead track 'Regenmacher', through the breezy, jazz-led groove of 'Adhs' to the laidback funk of 'The Cop', Nomina EP is a meticulously crafted EP from a producer at the top of his game. Following previous releases from M.ono, Vin Sol and Greenville Massive, Nomina EP is another assured and diverse release for the London-based Tenth Circle
