<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">The global version of the internationally renowned ULTRA Music Festival will again be making it's way to South African shores in 2017 with two massive shows planned in Cape Town at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday 24 February and in Johannesburg at the Expo Centre Nasrec on Saturday 25 February.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">International superstars Dash Berlin, KSHMR and DJ Snake will join the previously announced headliners David Guetta and Martin Garrix on the ULTRA South Africa main stage. Support from the likes of Black Coffee, Felix Jaehn, Headhunterz and Nic Fanciulli round out the highly anticipated phase 2 lineup which was announced today.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Dash Berlin is no stranger to ULTRA South Africa; this Dutch trance veteran has been contributing to the international scene for over a decade. He’s worked with icons such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, N.E.R.D. and Lenny Kravitz to name just a few. His performance on ULTRA South Africa’s main stage in 2016 blew the crowd away; expect Dash to bring energy levels to a peak at ULTRA in February.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">KSHMR (pronounced Kashmir), real name Niles Hollowell-Dhar, was awarded "The Highest New Entry" on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ list, and has since moved up 11 places this year to the No.12 spot. As a producer, he’s one of the world’s best and most loved, but as a live act he takes things to a whole new level.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">DJ Snake is the French DJ and record producer stunning the dance music world with his ability to create smash hit after smash hit. He most recently launched his first studio album ‘Encore’ featuring collaborations with icons Justin Bieber, Skrillex and more. DJ Snake was also behind one of the biggest and most iconic soundtracks of this generation, his collaboration with Major Lazer - “Lean On”. Expect to hear a range of unreleased future hits from Snake's performance at ULTRA South Africa.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">The eclectic support lineup is packed full of international superstars including HeadHunterz, real name William Rebergen, the Dutch DJ who is known for his hard hitting, energetic sets and who has worked with previous ULTRA South Africa artists like W&W and Krewella. HeadHunterz will be shaking up the sound with his banging big room set in Cape Town and JHB.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Next up, Felix Jaehn, the prodigal German tropical house DJ and producer that went number 1 in 20 countries with his remix of Omi's 'Cheerleader', will bring a summer sound to SA that that will surely get the girls dancing and the boys smiling.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">ULTRA South Africa will also be bringing the RESISTANCE stage back, with its deep and grimy sound for those that like to get down and dirty….
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Nic Fanciulli needs little introduction after completing a truly successful RESISTANCE world tour in 2016 with ULTRA Worldwide. Anyone who watched him on the RESISTANCE stages around the world or was at the legendary Space Ibiza closing party will know exactly how good this British DJ and producer is at getting a dance floor going, and keeping it going long into the night.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Joining Nic on this year’s RESISTANCE program is Black Coffee. Undoubtedly South Africa’s proudest current export, he started his career around 1995 and since then has played at P Diddy’s house party in Miami, taken home gold at the DJ Awards in Ibiza, remixed Avicii’s ‘Lay Me Down’ and much, much more. Expect him to bring his magical A-Game to the stage; something that Ultranauts will remember long after the festival is over.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">The local support act line-up is a who’s who of South Africa’s top talent including:
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Timo Odv, Pascal & Pearce, DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Crazy White Boy, P.H, DJ Milkshake, DJ Shimza, Vigilante, DJ Dimplez, Kyle Watson, Strange Loving, Mark Stent, Ryan Murgatroyd, Vimo, Chunda Munki, Kyle Cassim, Yeti, Dean Fuel, Household Funk, Saubomb, Ricardo Da Costa
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Plus Even More Local Artists To Be Announced Closer To The February 2017 Event.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">The ULTRA Angels will also be returning to beautiful South Africa to grace the stages with their hypnotic dancing and gorgeous costumes.
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">So, in summary, ULTRA South Africa 2017 is bringing 35 top quality artists from around the world to perform over 2 days in 2 cities, on 3 stages per city to tens of thousands of screaming fans at each show!

The Netherlands has long been a leader in the field of dance music, the nation responsible for some of the most successful producers and DJ’s the world has ever seen. PostNL will be celebrating the talents that stand head and shoulders above the rest, by giving five Dutch dance heroes their very own postage stamp.

The portrait of current World #1 Hardwell, alongside fellow Dutch DJ’s Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Dash Berlin and Tiësto, will be presented in luminous, vivid colours on the special collection of stamps which will be available to the public Monday October 6th.

As well as all five DJ’s flying into DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll, scoring positions within the top ten, next up in conjunction with the opening day of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on October 15th, each DJ honored with a stamp will be presented with their own by PostNL CEO, Herna Verhagen. As 300,000 visitors are set to descend on the festival, Verhagen said “PostNL is the heart of society, so we like to bring stamps that meet everyone's perceptions - we are proud that we can honor these heroes in dance!". Designers of the artwork Mark Klaverstijn and Paul du Bois-Reymond will also in attendance, explaining why they have chosen to depict these artists in this way - "For us it was immediately clear that the festive atmosphere of a dance event was leading, allowing us to be colorful with the stamps and for the portraits of the DJs take center stage”. The stamps are also provided with an invisible code that can be scanned with the Cee App (Available for free download in the App Store or Google Play), to unlock five excerpts of the artist’s latest tracks.

Having already scoped the prize for ‘Best Global DJ’ and ‘Best Progressive House/Electro DJ’ at the 2014 IDMA awards in Miami, and more recently being nominated for ‘Best Dutch Act’, ‘Best World Stage Performance’ and ‘Best Electronic Act’ in the 2014 MTV European Music Awards; making him the first Dutch dance artist to ever be nominated in 3 separate categories. The news of this national accolade is another marker that Hardwell’s international prominence is being felt not only aboard but also on home soil.

The 'Dutch DJs' stamps are intended for mail up to 20 grams with a destination within the Netherlands. The stamps are available at all stores and Bruna via Collect Club.

"Forget your old Pinto, and drive in style with “The Calvary,” where the meeting of two sage musical minds from across the sonic spectrum collide, rendering horse power for a high-octane collab of Bugatti status for the dancefloor." - DJ Mag

Is there a more potent combination to have arisen in recent months than the two super producers Steven Lee and Scott Storch? With the rumours confirmed recently that the two had been working on new material together we now have the first morsel of fresh music from the exciting pairing. The Calvary is a fierce statement of intent from two men who have both enjoyed massive success as producers and who now look to once more set the music world alight in 2014.

Storch is a titan of the industry, responsible for countless number one hits (including the multi million selling smashes Cry Me A River with Justin Timberlake, Me Myself and I of Beyonce fame and Still Dre alongside Dr. Dre), a man with an ear for a hook like no other. Following recent collaborations with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki and Dash Berlin it appears he is now firmly ensconced within the realms of house music, something which is a tantalizing prospect for dance fans. Lee is the other half of this sumptuous equation, formerly one of the bastions of Strictly Rhythm, from an young age the DJ and astute producer has consistently performed and produced at the highest level having initially made his breakthrough with the dance anthem Shake It as half of the worldwide success that was Lee Cabrera. Having been championed by everyone from Pete Tong to the World Music Awards in recent years, the New York based DJ knows exactly what is required to turn heads in the scene today. Most recently he caused a major stir with the release of Love Crazy Love, a sax infused record that typifies kind of groove based house music Lee made his name on.

In trademark Steven Lee style, The Calvary posses a driving house energy carefully combined with some well placed percussion. This is matched with a stunning hook which certainly seems like the handiwork of the multi talented Storch. The track represents a surefire sign of the quality of things to come from both camps, dropping into a peaceful interlude before building layer upon layer, The Calvary is a powerhouse of a record, incorporating some addictive chords and a driving drop which is sure to devastate clubs and festivals around the world.

Set for a full release this fall, The Calvary is the first in a series of high quality releases from both Steven Lee and Scott Storch. It is the latest in a series of announcements from Steven Lee who recently divulged a number of noteworthy projects alongside producers Jimmy Douglass (4 time Grammy award winner), Ill Factor (the man behind hits for Justin Timberlake and Kevin Rudolf) and the legendary Vincent Di Pasquale (Madonna, Mariah Carey). Lee has also put down records with a number of exciting vocalists including Bo Bruce a Finalist on UK"s The Voice, Red One's protege Zander Bleck, David Guetta, Axwell & Armand Van Helden vocalist & featured artist Tara McDonald, the legendary Sam Obernik and more.

Short stutters, smooth grooves, glitched out synths, wild edits and intricate rhythms — Blinders sure did a number on this tune. Taking all the freedom afforded to a remixer, Blinders truly recreated and re-envisioned Dash Berlin's anthem 'Here Tonight'. Cranking up the BPMs straight to 145, D-Block & S-te-Fan created their own monster variation that will certainly bring Dash Berlin's classic to heaps of new listeners.

With Dash Berlin's 'We Are' fast approaching on the horizon, the intensity and hype just keeps building and building. Each new single brings with it the promise of an outstanding and memorable record, and this remix package brings two heavy-hitters with it. Carita La Niña is one of the most promising Dutch talents, and she's rocked not only major releases on big labels, but clubs all around the globe. Her big-room interpretation is all about punch and heavy drive. Lush & Simon also belong in the 'elite' category, consistently rising up with top-level tunes. Their remix is the perfect closing song for a festival!

The anticipation factor has been tremendous... The hype and buzz around Dash Berlin's latest (and some say most impressive) studio album was undeniable. Dash was quoted as saying: "at the end of the day, it's going to be your soundtrack, to your life, so let's do this together". And so 'We Are' was born — out of a love for the fans that helped build the current #10 DJ in the world into what he is today.

Ever since 'Till the Sky Falls Down' first changed the world (and helped define the special sound of Dash Berlin), fans have been hungering for the next expression of musical delight to spring forth from one of the world's most celebrated entertainers. In witnessing Dash's promotion leading up to the release, there was an unmistakable spark present in his communication with his fans. Despite being limited by the 140 character medium, it is obvious that Dash Berlin has been brimming with pride with each and every teaser — clearly this is much more than a project to the artist. And it shows. Finding a breakaway track in the album is almost impossible. These eight tracks could all be considered potential anthems, and each one would be right at home on the radio.

3LAU, John Dahlback, Rigby, Roxanne Emery, Jay Cosmic, BullySongs, Adam Jensen, Disfunktion, Chris Arnott, Bright Lights, Syzz and Collin McLoughlin all came to the aid of 'We Are', helping to build the classics that will undeniably shape Dash Berlin's career for many years to come.

Official Music Video Dash Berlin & Rigy - Earth Meets Water

After announcing his new album (to be released this summer), Dash Berlin reveals the first gem from it - 'Earth Meets Water'. It's no wonder that this song absolutely destroyed A State of Trance in Utrecht this year (and elsewhere).

Dash Berlin's uncompromising commitment to epic vocals and driving beats has kept him afloat as one of the world's highly regarded artists, with a very recognizable and captivating sound.

The sound of Dutch band Rigby could be described as sweet, pure, and full of bittersweet emotion.

There are enough musical areas where these two artists overlap to make for an outstanding collaboration, and it's precisely the subtle differences in their respective sounds that make 'Earth Meets Water' so special. The essence of both contributors is equally felt, and the pairing is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

'Earth Meets Water' is a magical feeling that, if you're not careful, can slip through your fingers like a fistful of sound…
