<span style="font-family: inherit;">Following Ultra Europe’s second annual record-breaking outing in July 2014, which saw over 150,000 revelers from 125 countries descend upon Dalmatia’s picturesque coastline for three consecutive days of world-class entertainment, Croatia’s largest electronic music event to date now returns with one of the most incredible festival Aftermovies ever made—‘TO THE SUN’ (RELIVE ULTRA EUROPE 2014).</span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Having carved out his own unique style of festival Aftermovies in 2014, FINAL KID kingpin Charly Friedrichs has arguably produced his most magical offering yet with this latest short film. Featuring exquisite HD footage from the Poljud Stadium in Split, the Hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort on Hvar Island (at the now-legendary Ultra Beachpool party) and stunning shots of the beaches, scenery and architecture for which this stretch of coastline is so loved, Friedrichs captures the very essence of the Croatian summer combined with the inimitable Ultra experience, to deliver a truly jaw-dropping review of Ultra Europe 2014.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">With first hand insights and praise from Fedde Le Grand, Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, David Guetta and Sebastian Ingrosso, the ten-minute extravaganza is topped off with both an upbeat and a euphoric summer soundtrack, packed to the brim with sexy saxophones and uplifting synths, courtesy of Bakermat & Goldfish (Games Continuedfeat. Marie Passard) and Deniz Koyu (To The Sun).</span></div>

<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Super promotion Red Sky London is proud to announce its next spectacular show, this time at the suitably larger O2 Academy in Brixton, on <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_1013973602" style="border-bottom-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; position: relative; top: -2px; z-index: 0;" tabindex="0"><span class="aQJ" style="position: relative; top: 2px; z-index: -1;">Saturday 6th September</span></span> and showcasing a first ever live show from Dutch sensation Bakermat to launch his forthcoming full length album. Support comes in the form of live instrumentalists and global house stars Goldfish plus Aka Aka & Thalstroem, Kant & Jolyon and more guests will be announced in the near future.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Red Sky have previously hosted sell out shows with the likes of Bakermat, Tube & Berger and Claptone, and already have a reputation for going that extra mile in terms of production with huge LED screens, pyrotechnics, forward-facing visuals and lighting and generally the sort of awesome vibe and aura you’d expect at a festival headlining rock concert. </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Headlining is Bakermat once again, a man truly on the verge of stardom and on the eve of releasing his debut album, which is sure to send him into the stratosphere. Said album, like his music to date is a melodic fusion of house and techno produced in a minimalist manner with jazz and soul notes to finish it off. It comes on labels like Delicieuse Records and Soundplate and the new album is likely to be his fullest artistic statement to date. </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Bakermat himself is also a trained musician who can play keys as well as he DJs. As such this 90-minute show will mark his first live concert and will see him play songs old and new with a saxophonist, key player, bass player, vocalist and percussionist. Sure to be a spine tingling, sensory overload of a show, this exclusive and very special performance is not to be missed. </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Next headliners Goldfish are South Africans Dom and Dave, a live duo that does things properly, building their tracks from the bottom up with real instrumentation.  Both members of the group studied music formally and have played all over the world from Pacha to Ultra Music Fest and in late 2013, offered up their latest album, 3 Second Memory.   Rather than bash out boring loops in Ableton this awesome musical twosome build their sounds from the bottom up, playing around eight different instruments including saxophones, double bass, flutes, keyboards and panty of electronic beats. </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Also making another London debut are Aka Aka & Thalstroem, Stil Vor Talent associated producers of groovy minimal house that have hooked up with trumpeter, Thalstroem, and produced a joint album titled ‘Varieté’. Their unusual, fresh and dreamy trademark sound and their live performances are highly regarded so this is yet another reason not to miss out on tonight’s musical magic. </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Last but not least, Danish melodic deep house producer Kant, which means ‘edge’ in Danish, also plays, as does Jolyon, the technically excellent DJ and learned selector that reaches for deep house, tech and plenty in between. Both sure to work the crowd in their own ways, this is set to be a terrific and hugely memorable night in London. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">After endless studio time and countless hours behind the mixing desk, <b>Fedde Le Grand & DI-RECT's</b> <b>‘Where We Belong’</b> was finally perfected and released at the tale end of 2013. The end result rounded off a sterling year for the Dutch super producer and cult rock act who saw their track ascend to #11 in the overall chart and sustain a top 10 in the genre charts right the way through to January 22nd. But now, courtesy of a diverse group of fellow producers, ‘Where We Belong’ continues its passage with 5 unique remixes available to own on Beatport!</span></div>

<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">From <b>Bakermat</b> to <b>Zomboy</b>, ‘Where We Belong’ undergoes treatment from each end of the spectrum with the energy levels cranked up a notch with each producer who takes to the fore.  Stepping up to offer his characteristic bouncing drops, <b>Henry Fong</b> turns the record into a surefire festival favourite with an enormous accented bass section that changes the entire face of the original production. Continuing the huge hook tip to great effect, newcomers <b>Holl & Rush</b>turn the track on its head for an electro house smash, whereas <b>Jochen Miller</b> harnesses the original’s euphoric element and pushes it to the enth degree. Bookending the package, <b>Zomboy</b>is set to delight fans with typically huge remix material after a little hiatus from taking on others tracks and finally house producer currently hotly tipped across Europe, <b>Bakermat,</b> brings proceedings down to his inimitable funky controlled grooves. <span style="font-family: inherit;">Hello Lodewijk, Its such a huge pleasure to be doing this interview with
us, Thank you for taking time out to do this.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><b>How are you doing and what’s currently cooking in your studio?</b></span><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I'm currently still touring a lot but i'm also spending quite some time
in the studio. I'm working on a lot of new original songs, but i'm also
collaborating with artists like Goldfish.</span><br />
<b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;"><br /></b><b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;">          </b><b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;">•   We ask all of our “guests” this, what is
the first thing that comes to mind when you                    hear  South Africa?</b><br />
<b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;"><br /></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Wild nature, rich culture, Nelson
Mandela and a lot of history. To be honest i don't know much about SA, cause
i've never been there. I know about the history of the country though, and i
heard a lot of great stories about sa's wildlife and nature.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b>
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;">•    You go by the name Bakermat which means
origin in Dutch, what’s the story behind the name?</span></b><br />
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">It's actually not really an
exciting story, it's really random. When i finished my first track ever (zomer)
last year my roommate said i should put it on youtube. I was in my room
studying when i decided to do this, and when i got to the 'title' form i had to
make up an artist name. Lodewijk isn't really that catchy so i decided the
easiest way to find a good name is to just look into my books and find a word
that sounds nice. Bakermat it was haha.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b>
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;">  </span><span style="color: #f1c232;">•    Can you tell us a little more about who
Lodewijk is on a non-musical front?</span></b><br />
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I'm a 22 year old Psychology
student (due to a heavy touring schedule thats on pause now). I have always enjoyed
listening and collecting music, and decided to make some of my own last year.
My career has been going really fast since then. I love dogs, but don't like
cats. My favorite food is lobster. I'm really tall. I love tobacco and alcohol.
My hobbies next to music are: traveling, art, movies and hanging out with
friends. Oh and hiking, i like hiking.</span><br />
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b>
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;">•   </span></b><b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;">You studied a Degree in Psychology and
now you in music take us through your      journey how did you end up in music?</span></b><br />
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://gklinux.sanparks.org/parks/table_mountain/ht/images/J2T6246.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" loading="lazy" src="http://gklinux.sanparks.org/parks/table_mountain/ht/images/J2T6246.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I always listened to and collected music. Last year i had to study a lot, but i couldn't concentrate at all. I was bored and came up with the idea of writing a song. I started working on it in FL Studio and finished a track that day (zomer). It was for my self really, so i just played it while i was studying for a while. Roommates heard it and advised me to put it on youtube. I got a lot of views and nice feedback, so i started making other songs as well. Internet is responsible for the rest really, people started sharing the sounds and it got bigger and bigger. Two months later i got offers from labels and agencies, and i started touring around the world. It sounds absolutely nuts like this, but this is exactly how it went. Now it's my full time job.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;"><br /></b>
<b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;">       •   Your sound is extremely unique How did
you develop it and how would you describe               </b><b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;"> </b><b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;">your sound and style of music  </b><b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;">in 3 colors?</b><b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;"> </b><br />
<b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;">  </b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<a href="http://www.allvectors.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/music-equalizer-vector.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="209" loading="lazy" src="http://www.allvectors.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/music-equalizer-vector.jpg" width="320" /></a><span style="font-family: inherit;">I had the musical style in my
head and noticed nobody made music like that. So i decided to put all of my
ideas into my laptop and create songs, so i could finally listen to that exact
style i liked. The tracks i made in the beginning were made just for myself to
listen to. I never expected so many people to share the same taste in music as
me. I think that's what makes it unique, because it is custom made. I would
describe my music as colourfull, happy and inspiring. At least i hope it's
inspiring.</span><br />
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b>
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"> •   Where do you draw your inspiration from?</span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">From literally every genre out
there. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. Every kind has it's own
strong elements. I love to combine different elements of different genres and
make a new sound out of that. For example, vandaag is a combination of house,
deep/tech house and jazz. Combining elements of different genres is my main
inspiration. Ofcourse i also have a lot of artists that inspire me. I love
artists like Moby, Fatboy Slim, Paul Kalkbrenner, Goldfish who each have a
really characterstic sound. That's what i want too, that when people listen to
a track they immediately know it's yours, but still are surprised because it's
refreshing.</span><br />
<b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;"><br /></b>
<b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;">• </b><b style="color: #f1c232; font-family: inherit;"> Your
productions have a blend of Jazz, Soul and Deep house elements, how do you find
the right balance between these 3 very different styles?</b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #222222;">Grabbing the right
elements out of the different genres. I love the beat and bass of deep house, i
love jazz saxophone solos and i love the soul chords and vocals. This way you
can combine them into a track with beat, bass, chords, vocals and jazzy
saxophone parts and make a fresh composition.</span></span><br />
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br /></span></b>
<b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;">•  </span></b><b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;">When
we hear Utrecht we think Party, Music what’s the best thing about Utrecht and
living there?</span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #222222;">I actually live in
Amsterdam now. Utrecht is a real student city. I loved studying there because
the city is full of student bars and cafes. As a musician though i really
started to feel that Amsterdam is better place to live because it's full of
creative people. That's why i recently decided to move.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"> </span><b style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="color: #f1c232;">•  You have an upcoming South Africa tour;
We have to ask this one what are your perceptions of South Africa and what are
you most looking forward to?</span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I know that the boys from Goldfish
are pretty popular there, so the taste in music is good in SA! I'm really
looking forward to see if sa has a good, enthusiastic crowd. I love it when
people really have passion for music. I love playing in France for example,
because the people really come for the music and i always feel they are
passionate. I hope to see SA crowds the same way. I really don't know what to

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Bakermat, an alias for young Dutch producer Lodewijk Fluttert, had a quick rise. In just three months he gained a lot of views, likes and followers with his productions. He has always had an obsession with music, in many genres. From an early age the young Bakermat was into jazz and blues and discovered house music at the age of 12. By fanatically listening to every track that was posted on blogspots he had quickly built up a huge library. When he was 18, he went to the University of Utrecht to study Psychology. It was there that he discovered deep house and producing his own music.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">He started practising a lot with production and deejaying and quickly developed a sound of his own. His signature sound, deep house with jazz and soul influences, started to attract a lot of attention in a short time. He went from being an ordinary student with no musical network at all to a producer with labels and agencies knocking on his door. In September Bakermat signed a contract with agency Soulmax, knowing that they will bring him to the next level.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">His sets are filled with joy and happiness, and are always melodic. Saxophones, flutes, trumpets, Bakermat tries to use them frequently. The combination of these jazz instruments with deep house music is what makes Bakermat’s style unique. Still growing as an artist, Bakermat had a release in August 2013 on Delicieuse Records where he released the “Vandaag EP” consisting of the tracks Vandaag and Zomer (DM mix). Some other tracks that have been received with great enthusiasm are “Uitzicht”, “Black Cat John Brown” and “Strandfeest”. He is currently working on productions with other artists such as Arjuna Schiks, Goldfish and Tonique. A lot of work in progress is ready to be released and the gigs are lined up. Growth is what matters!</span><br />
