South Africa's Musical Hero Black Coffee Remixes Avicii's Lay me Down

Avicii - Lay You Down (Black Coffee Remix)

adam lambert

The fifth single to be released from Avicii's debut album 'True' is a track you can't help but love. It's bursting with old school disco vibes. Adam Lambert's vocals compliment Nile Roger's guitar work flawlessly. It's safe to say even if you hate it the track will get you grooving and moving.

Lay Me Down has been given a makeover by one of our local musical hero's, who we can all agree is one of our most important musical exports, Black Coffee. It's great to see him flying the South African flag.

Black Coffee's make over of  'Lay Me Down' is musically representative of South Africa. It's dark and deep and filled with hard hitting drums and heavy bass. It's these key elements that make a track proudly South African. One listen and the track will have you awaiting summers arrival.

Black Coffee's remix of 'Lay Me Down' by Avicii is out via PRMD/Positiva on August 12
