Proxy Iron
Enigmatic Russian producer Proxy returns to Turbo sounding every bit as powerful as ever.
'Iron' is a festival wrecking-ball, a hydraulic jackhammer that builds to frenzy, dropping into dizzying synths before coming back in with even greater raw force.
Jumanarama might lower the tempo a bit but it's another psychotically intense banger, built around what sound like auto-tuned bagpipes. Awesomely freaky. Proxy's trademark distorted samples shred in and out but all you can feel is the stadium-shaking bass.
Has inspired the awe of Skrillex, Afrojack, Diplo, Boys Noize, A-Trak, Steve Aoki and Tiga.
