Danny Howard Fires Up The Remixes
Danny Howard drops a trio of remixes following his busiest summer yet.
It’s not been a quiet, relaxing summer for Danny Howard, that’s for sure. Between gearing up the nation for their Saturday on his weekly BBC Radio 1 show, racking up thousands of air miles flying between Ibiza and Mallorca for his residencies at the legendary Pacha andBCM, and dropping his second album, the Ibiza-inspired BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems Ibiza which soared into the iTunes dance chart at #1, Danny has not stopped for even a second. Throw into the mix a Beatport top 10 release with ‘Vargo’, the progressive electro hybrid with Arctic counterparts, Futuristic Polar Bears and you’ve got what sounds like the ultimate summer.
Thankfully though, the most in demand name in dance music hasn’t taken time out and has instead flexed his production muscles in the studio on not one, not two but a trio of exciting remixes that’ll serve to fill the void while we wait for that follow-up to ‘Vargo’ onSpinnin’ in October.
Danny takes the bass-heavy vibes ofFedde Le Grand’s ‘Twisted’ and stamps his distinctive flavour all over it making it a true-to-form dancefloor weapon. The original track, which Danny premiered on his BBC Radio 1 show drummed up support from industry heavyweights Hardwell, David Guetta,Fatboy Slim and Pete Tong to name just a few.
Looking into the future, there’s a couple of heavy duty remixes of Afrojack’s‘Dynamite’ featuring Snoop Dogg andJakob Liedholme’s ‘Nea’ to look forward to that prove Danny’s more than worth his salt as producer who can stamp his unique mark on any track.
The summer’s far from over for Danny Howard with a set at one of the biggest events in the UK dance calendar, MINT Festival, to look forward to, plus his week in, week out Pacha residency right up until 4th October. It’s been his busiest few months and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down anytime soon…
