Quickly positioning itself as a main player as an underground label, X, shows it means business with the introduction of pioneering US house producer/DJ, Todd Terry, and his vivacious tune “Real House” on June 16.

“Real House” is fresh with inflections of the 80’s house movement that Terry helped mould. Lead by his iconic vocal and track sampling, this slice is filled with groovy percussion patterns and breaks, fully encompassing what house is about.

Celebrated as one of the most influential figures in dance music, Todd Terry has created his own signature sound by mashing Hip-Hop samples with house. By using his distinct sound of Hip-House, Terry has been nominated for a Grammy award, climbed Billboard charts and landed tracks in the UK Top 10, as well as having the privilege of officially remixing The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Bjork and Duran Duran to name a few.
