EGG readies itself for a Brazilliant summer!

Egg London announces World Cup summer and line ups including Mosca, Dungeon Meat, Miguel Campbell, Nick Curly, Robag Whrume, Wolf + Lamb, Storm Queen, Kevin Saunderson and more

This summer is going to be a momentous one for EGG. As well as the usual musical delights, the leading London club is to show every England group match as well as other selected great games for the coming World Cup in Brazil.

Every match will be shown on massive LCD screens inside and outside the venue, making use of the new open-air terrace. To really help get you in the spirit, EGG will transport you to Brazil with an authentic open-flame Brazilian Churrasco. The food on offer will include traditional BBQ’d skewers, flame grilled meats, fish and veggie options, and all food will be prepared and cooked by proper Brazilian natives because their unique style is in a league of its own. At half time the fun wont stop either, because traditional Brazilian dancers will be putting on a special show for everyone in attendance.

And so to the music, which throughout June, July and August will cover many excellent bases. June will be a busy month with an Exploited records showcase on the 6th featuring Claptone, Adana Twins, Doctor Dru & Shir Khan, whilst Familia is back with Kollektiv Turmstrasse (Live), Wolf+Lamb, Jimpster and many more on the 7th. On 13th EGG Present Danse Club Records with Dungeon Meat and Brodanse, Terminal M is in town for a label showcase on the 14th with the likes of Monika Kruse, 2000 And One and Paul C & Paolo Martin, with Storm Queen and Flashmob headlining on the 20th. On the 21st Supernova goes Brazilian with Neverdogs, Anderson Noise and others, Kurv having Chasing Kurt live on 27th and techno king Matador headlines the last June party on the 28th.

July will see dOP play live with Outboxx on the 4th, Karotte, DJ Ralf, Fabio Ferro, Ben Grunnell, Nick Tcherniak + more all line up for Familia on the 5th and Waifs & Strays are the main men on the 11th.  The night after, Uncut offer up sets from Mihai Popoviciu and Reset Robot and Andre Crom makes a welcome return on July 18th. The following night regular night Circus is back with chief Yousef plus Guti and Nick Curly also in attendance. As well as Kurv on 25th the month closes out with a huge Watergate album launch party featuring Kevin Saunderson, La Fleur, Lee Jones and Ripperton.
Into the prime of summer and August will offer the likes of Audiojack and Alexis Raphael, Cristian Varela, Miguel Campbell, Infinity Ink, Gui Boratto, Jimmy Edgar, Mosca, Kassem Mosse, Gregor Tresher, Vince Watson and many more to be confirmed.

Given the fact EGG has now been doing it for over a decade, the club really is perfectly attuned to what clubbers need, and with sporting, food based and musical offerings as great as this all summer long, who needs Ibiza?!
