Of all our creations, "Racecar Driver" may well have the most typical "mainstream Pop" sound, and it finds its own place working out within the bigger picture of our diversity driven repertoire.

We embraced the refreshing naiveté of the child-at-heart dream theme proposed by singer Silver Medallion, which provided us a reason to deliver a personal take on EDM/House music, taking advantage of the repetitiveness and mechanical nature we find in this genre, as well as its heavy synths signature sounds, to give the sense of big roaring engines..!

It also makes for a fun occasion to "hijack" the common teenage love song heard all over and bring out some exciting surprise!

While it is unquestionably a modern song, we feel this whole idea made of fast vehicles, love affair and most of all Adventure carries something in a way reminiscent of the 60's and 70's, especially through Silver Medallion's rocker voice. Hopefully, this will allow to rekindle a spark of the enthusiasm of those times..!

Like Steppenwolf used to put it: "Get your motor runnin', head out on the hiiighway"… and you'll do the rest.
