Isle Of Skye is a Johannesburg based production/DJ duo consisting of Carl von Hoesslin and Michael Elliott. Music has been a part of both of their lives from a young age. Carl and Mike met in 2007 whilst still at school together and began writing music.

The style/genre of music produced varies vastly from electro, trance, drum & bass, progressive, electro jazz and swing among other styles that pay them interest. It is this diversity that Carl and Mike believe makes their sound unique and special.

Isle Of Skye have been featured on 5FM’s “Fresh Drive” & "Off The Record" with Dirty Herz on several occasions for several different genres. Isle Of Skye has also featured on other local and international radio stations and podcasts.

The focus of Isle Of Skye up until now has been predominantly achieving flawless musical production value and to promote the tracks individually and the productions of Isle Of Skye.

Isle Of Skye have enjoyed numerous gigs at Johannesburg super-club Truth, playing alongside the likes of Jacob Van Hage, Maddix, Bassanova, Michael Woods and other local producers and DJ’s such as, dutch-born Dirty Herz, Roger Goode, Speedy, Morgan, Kyle Worde and Rocca & Martini to name a few. Other gigs include festivals such as the boutique, ELE presents Beats In The Bush. The Isle Of Skye team are looking forward to see what the 2014 year holds for their passion in music production and performance.
