Cloudive is a side project focused on modern Deep House sound. It is run by Aleksey Yakovlev, a resident artist at Silk Music. Intricate Records, the parent label of Intricate Cuts, already released Aleksey's track "I Funk You" as a part of the annual compilation "Intricate Sessions Volume 01", but that production was done under his own name and co-written with a fellow artist Airdraw.

Now the time has come for a solo release under the alias Cloudive - Intricate Cuts was chosen as a proper platform for this type of Aleksey's activity. One of the original works at the EP, "Passion", is a blistering emotional track gradually flaring up to the point of culmination and rapidly fading, exactly as it frequently happens to a feeling inside a human's soul. "Reckless", in contrary, is remarkable because of some moderate restraint and monotonicity which add extra dancing temperament. The core element of both productions is loop-like vocal part which is characteristic for the majority of Cloudive releases, as well as piano contaminations appearing here and there from time to time.
