Le Trouble, 'Reality Strikes' (Debut EP, Out November 5 via Lava Records)

"Real Talk (Part 2)" specializes in glossy falsetto, a shamelessly showy, swollen chorus, and splashy keyboards — a mix that makes good on Le Trouble's goal to "ride that thin line between Meat Loaf, Hall and Oates, and punk." - SPIN
"Combining the urban grit of Fort Lean with the youthful vitality of Reptar, it’s brash and raw
and everything you could want from a garage band in 2013." - Neon Gold

"...this record is going to be a dance party favorite." - NYLON Guys

Montreal’s garage rock outfit Le Trouble is set to release Reality Strikes, their debut EP for Lava Records, on November 5. The six-song collection offers a fitting first glimpse at the quintet's elegantly catchy musical mischief.

Driven by the first single "Real Talk (Part 2)," the band echoes the likes of first-EP-era Arcade Fire and Is This It-era The Strokes, while conjuring its own irresistably raucous sound in the process. Boasting a big hook and snappy guitars, you'll be humming along instantly.

Le Trouble first came together in 2011. The five musicians tapped into an overpowering chemistry and quickly constructed their independent debut. That first release attracted Lava in 2012, and they signed the band. Reality is about to strike… get ready for your new, not-so-guilty pleasure.
