#SLATop5 Simon Lee & Alvin x think IN electronic Top 5

#SLATop5 Simon Lee & Alvin x think IN electronic Top 5 (October 2014)

simon lee & alvin top 5 october

Every month Simon Lee & Alvin share with think IN electronic their 5 favourite discoveries (in no particular order) and tell us why they love these records!

Tritonal - Anchor [ENHANCED]

Simon Lee : Tritonal are on top of their game this year! I love their current style of music and this new vocal single is a great follow up for their new EP! Huge crossover potential here.

Alvin : We’ve always been huge fans of Tritonal because whatever they release is just pure gold and “Anchor” is no exception. This big room track comes right after their latest track “Satellite" featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn and proves that there is no stopping to what this duo can churn out. Accompanied by rising synths and what I believe to be marriage in heaven vocals, this anthem is set to rock the socks off both the dance arena and airwaves!

Tom Odell - Another Love (Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman Remix) [COLUMBIA]

A : What happens when you put Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman touches on a melancholy song? Hit the link above and you’ll be amazed by what these guys have accomplished. This Swedish duo have added progressive elements to all the right places on “Another Love”. Rather than just a remix treatment, they’ve managed to uplift the song and accentuate Tom Odell’s vocals, making it difficult to believe this track is actually a remix rather than an original.

SL : I first heard this on the radio months back and wasn't even sure if it'd get an official release. But it's out now! Beautiful remix which did the original justice! Get ready to be drawn into the track's haunting vocals and melodies!

Almond & 200DB Feat. Lokka - The One (EDMentals Remix) [FREE]

SL : I've said this before and I'll repeat it again, the quality of free music available today is outstanding! This remix of "The One" is a great example. I've had it on repeat ever since coming across it. Such a great production and I really love Lokka's vocals and lyrics on this one.

A : One of the better remix out there of “The One”, definitely a track set to build the momentum in the club or festivals. A must have in your DJ bag and definitely included on our radio show as a Top Track.

Ben Gold feat. Christina Novelli - All Or Nothing [#GOLDRUSH / ARMADA]

SL : If Christina Novelli is on the record you know it's going to be good! Paired with Ben Gold's outstanding production for this one, this track is a polished vocal trance record with massive appeal! It's pure Gold!

A : Stamped as the first release of Ben Gold’s own recording label, #Goldrush Recordings, this British producer has definitely composed a stunning trance track. With well-known Christina Novelli’s angelic vocals on board, “All or Nothing” equipped with its heavy basslines and uplifting synths is nothing short of a brilliant masterpiece.

Marnik - Momentum [REVEALED]

A : Lol, can I say this is one of Simon’s secret weapons? No doubt about it, this hard electro big room track is massive and does its job getting everyone excited on the dancefloor. Needless to say, this Marnik concoction is also featured on Revealed Volume 5 mix album. Italian duo Marnik has certainly made a statement with their debut track and are definitely here to stay.

SL : This merciless dancefloor destroyer is top drawer club material! A must have for all peak hour DJs!
