KID ARKADE – ICEBERG
Released on 17th October via Ultra Music is the second single from newcomers to the electro scene, Kid Arkade. With their debut offering on the label ‘Atlas Run’ receiving widespread support, this next release stands to consolidate their presence as a highly promising dance act.
Titled ‘Iceberg’, the track races into action from the offset; a progressive riff of melodic beeps plays out over its electro-fuelled bass line, and together they surge towards a hugely atmospheric breakdown. A game-style theme is emphasized with glitchy snatches running almost constantly throughout.
We love the gaming-style them Kid Arkade has stuck to. It's unique and really transports us back to our childhood of playing video games.
With early support from the likes of Knife Party, Danny Howard, Bingo Players and Pete Tong’s Evolution radio show, ‘Iceberg’ is an impressive follow up single from Kid Arkade.
