Truth Presents KARMON (NL), CHAK BESH (DE) & DISCOVER RECORDS (UK)

This Saturday, 26 July 2014 sees extra special guests on all three floors at Truth.

Hamburg-based label Diynamic has carved a rock-solid reputation over the last 8 years and Dutch house DJ/producer KARMON is one of their brightest new stars. He heads to the TERRACE supported by 2lani The Warrior, Whitey D'Vine, House Knights and The Pimp Squad.

Resident DJ and organiser of the highly regarded Manege 8 Floor parties at Berlin's legendary Katerholzig club, CHAK BESH  has crafted his own signature sound and style and is well-known to the who's who of Berlin's club scene. Truth welcomes him UPSTAIRS alongside Claudia Lovisa, Clinton Dodgen, Metro Ticket & Reezo Hassan.

UK-based trance label Discover Records launches the first of a series of exclusive parties that will bring the very best Discover talent to some of the best venues in South Africa.

Manuel Le Saux has played in all four corners of the globe including high profile festivals like Quest 4 Trance, Luminosity, Tomorrowland, Entrance Festival, Technoclub and Gatecrasher to name but a few he is joined by label buddies Chris Hampshire, Lostly and local stars, Richard Santana and Stefan Viljoen.

// About KARMON

Drumming on all kinds of household equipment and jamming on the guitar until his fingers hurt, it was pretty clear that a path into music was set. When and how was not yet clear at that time.

It was in 2003 that Karmon came into contact with electronic music through his older brother. At that time experimenting with different styles and setups with mild success it wasn´t until early 2012 when the artist now known as Karmon was born. Having experienced various flows of electronic music he now set out to develop his own style and with great success.

In a matter of months top chart productions were coming out of the Karmon studio. Starting out with his debut release “Turning Point” on Sintope Digital and then followed up with “Wowshit” on Diynamic.

All this talent surely could not go by unnoticed. In the summer of 2012 Solomun had already been playing Karmon's tracks and soon after asked him to join their agency (DIY).

The future looks bright for young Karmon. His schedule, inspiration and motivation is growing and he set out to play all over the globe.
