DIM MAK RECORDS ARTIST THE WILLOWZ “REPETITION” FEATURED ON NATIONAL SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL FOR MOUNTAIN DEW KICKSTART

Dim Mak Records made impact during Super Bowl XLVIII this past weekend(February 2) as Mountain Dew featured the track “Repetition” from California garage rock band The Willowz in their national advertisement for their Kickstartdrink. The track was originally featured in The Willowz’ 2009 album Everyone on Dim Mak Records.

The Willowz formed in 2002 in Anaheim, CA, and their sound mixes punk, soul, and blues influences. The band has previously worked with famed film director Michel Gondry on their music video for "I Wonder." Their music was also featured in the Gondry-directed film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Their songs "Making Certain" and "Ulcer Soul" were also included in Gondry’s 2006 film The Science of Sleep.
