NOKIA AND 5FM ANNOUNCE EXCITING LOCAL LINE-UP FOR BASTILLE SA TOUR

BASTILLE TOURS SOUTH AFRICA
PRESENTED BY NOKIA. POWERED BY 5FM.

Seed Experiences are excited to confirm that Nokia is now on board as a sponsor for Bastille Live in South Africa, which is powered by hit radio station 5FM.  .

Nokia – along with 5FM – are excited to announce  the first-class local line-up that will be performing alongside Bastille in Kirstenbosch Gardens, Cape Town and Emmarentia Dam, Johannesburg.

Bed On Bricks will perform at both Cape Town and the Johannesburg concert, while Beatenberg and Matthew Mole have been added to the Johannesburg line-up only.

Bed On Bricks will be making their eagerly anticipated comeback after a three-year hiatus. The band’s Dave van der Linden is particularly excited to be performing ahead of Bastille as he shares family ties with Bastille frontman Dan Smith. “It’s going to be amazing to play as Bed On Bricks again and to perform alongside my own family who are in Bastille. We would like to thank Nokia, 5FM and Seed Experiences for this amazing opportunity to celebrate 10 years together as a band,” says Dave.

Bed on Bricks will release a 10-year celebration EP featuring three new tracks and seven remixes of their big hits ahead of the Bastille concerts.

In Johannesburg, the extended line-up means that fans will get to see 5FM playlisted Beatenberg and 5FM top 40 artist, Matthew Mole performing ahead of Bastille at Emmarentia Dam on 11 January 2014. ‘I'm super honoured to be supporting such an amazing act! Seed Experiences just upped their game every time they bring out internationals!’ says Matthew Mole. The popular trio that is Beatenberg stated the following after being told they are performing in Johannesburg; ‘Beatenberg would like to put it on official record that we are extremely excited to be opening for Bastille.’
