Dim Mak Records has teamed with world-class electronic music media outlet Mixmagto present the official remix contest for Borgore’s recently released banger “Wild Out.” The track, featuring hip-hop heavyweight Waka Flocka Flame and U.K. vocalistPaige, is the lead single from Borgore’s newly released Wild Out EP, out now on Dim Mak Records.
The remix competition invites producers, vocalists, rappers, and artists of all genres to compete for the grand prize: The winning remix will be released as an official Dim Mak Records track. The contest winner will be announced December 18 with the winning entry to be officially released via Dim Mak Records. All entries must be submitted bymidnight December 5. Borgore, Dim Mak, and Mixmag are inviting aspiring artists from all genres to compete in the official “Wild Out” remix contest. Fans are invited to take this electro/hip-hop anthem and remix it into disco, trap, drum ‘n’ bass or any other genre. The winning remix will require a unique take on the single and will highlight an artist that pushes their own production abilities.
The Wild Out EP—a collection of diverse tracks that showcase Borgore as a songwriter and his ability to move between genres—features “Wild Out” with Waka Flocka Flame and Paige, which meshes the track’s bass-heavy antics and hip-hop crossover appeal for a notorious big room banger ready to force any crowd into a frenzy. The track, which premiered on Rolling Stone and BBC Radio 1 via Annie Nightingale, has since charted across Beatport (Hard Dance Top Tracks #4, Electro House Top Tracks #7) with over 550K SoundCloud streams in less than a month. Also highlighted on the EP is standout track “Booty Monsta” with producerVictor Niglio, a massive tune that utilizes hard-punching electronics and a riveting bass line to create rampage on the dance floors. The Wild Out EP also features a new club mix of “Wild Out” and bonus track "Wayak," a modern take on a classic Egyptian love song featuring world-renowned singer Dudu Tassa.
