Dim Mak Records has teamed with influential electronic music media outlet Dancing Astronaut to present the official remix contest for Steve Aoki’s most recent release“Bring You To Life (Transcend),” a collaboration with producer Rune RK featuring vocalist RAS, out now on Dim Mak Records. The remix competition invites producers of all genres to compete for the grand prize: The winning remix entry will be released as part of an official Dim Mak Records remix package. The contest winner will be announced December 11 with the winning remix to be officially released via Dim Mak Records. All entries must be submitted by midnight November 27. Steve AokiDim Mak, and Dancing Astronaut are inviting aspiring producers, DJs, and remixers from all walks of life to compete in the official “Bring You To Life (Transcend)” remix contest. Fans are invited to take this electro anthem and remix it into disco, trap, drum ‘n’ bass or any other genre. The winning remix will require a unique take on the single and will highlight an artist that pushes their own production abilities.

“Bring You To Life (Transcend)” has been soaring up the charts since its release. The recently released music video, which premiered on USA Today and is directed by Gille Klabin, features a major cameo from world-renowned fitness personality and actor Richard Simmons in a role-swapping appearance for the ages. In the video,Steve Aoki and Richard Simmons transfer into each other’s universe via a magic pair of SOL REPUBLIC headphones. Steve Aoki becomes a fitness guru, while Richard Simmons transforms into an electronic music superstar. The full video is set to “Bring You To Life (Transcend)” and is powered by Aoki’s headphone of choice SOL REPUBLIC and the newly launched Deck by SOL REPUBLIC x Motorola, a portable wireless speaker, both featured prominently in the video.
