A full four track EP is the musical component to MORTEN’s grand reveal in which one track will be given away for free download each week.
The first free single of the EP, “Ballet Only” is an airy musical progression with dark twists and turns. Like much of the EP, released as individual free singles, MORTEN departs from the tried and true mechanics and trends in dance music.
Instead of the usual upbeat festival sound, MORTEN flirts with the macabre in the calculated and progressive “Ballet Only”. His new approach denies the big room build and drop. The self-titled EP returns to the roots of house music, with each track dancing between various sub-genres.
