So I heard the original song earlier this summer and fell in love with the vocals. I was already working on a summer-y melodic kind of track and it just happened to work out that the vocals for Golden fit into the track nicely. I tried to keep the electronic aspects of the song light and airy, to keep with the summer vibes and brought out a hard piano track to give the song some natural timbre, almost in a Miike Snow fashion.

Flying a kite
Rolling around on a lawn with puppies
Buying strawberry Rhubarb at a farmers market
Tandem bicycling way too fast
