DJ & Producer Das Kapital joins DJ Warras’

“The Fifth Element” on 5FM every Thursday.  “In Das We Trust” segment premieres at 8pm on 8^th May 2014

 

23 year old Headline DJ & Producer Das Kapital is joining DJ Warras on “The Fifth Element” weekday evening show on 5FM from the 8^th May 2014.

He will be presenting the “In Das We Trust” segment every Thursday evening from 8pm where he will be delivering the hottest Dance and Electronic tracks from South Africa and around the world.  He will also be naming his three top tracks of the week.

Das Kapital was recently named by GQ Magazine as one of the 35 Coolest People in South Africa under 35 years old, and is known for the brilliance of his DJing and ability to bring the party to both huge festival and smaller club crowds.

As a producer he has had tracks named “The Hottest in South Africa” and playlisted on 5FM, YFM, Metro FM and Good Hope FM.  He recently remixed Royal K (F! Records), Ivan Gough (Neon Records Australia) and Beatenberg (Universal SA).  Das Kapital also owns label Do Work Records.

Das has also written music for Hollywood film trailers (21 Jump Street), South African movies (Harlinn) and for brands including Adidas and Nokia.

DJ Warras recently joined 5FM from YFM and has taken over the weekday evening show from 7pm – 10pm replacing Roger Goode.  He also presents SA's biggest music show: LiveAMP SABC 1 Fridays @ 9pm.  He previously presented shows at YFM for 6 years.
