Hello and welcome to Think in Electronic, thank you for taking time out to do this interview with us.

1.     What’s the best thing about living in South Africa?

  

I would have to say the friendliness of people and the food!

3.     Can you tell us a bit more about yourself and how you got into music?

I started mucking around with a mates dj equipment many years ago, and I was hooked, I then bought my own setup and that’s pretty much how it all began. Since then I started playing in clubs around South Africa, but I always felt that wasn’t enough. I taught myself how to produce in 2008 and that’s really what got the ball rolling and getting your name out there.

Since then I have had singles on various radio stations around SA, many tracks signed to labels across the world, featured on various compilations & recently signed to Soul Candi Records as one of their artists.

4.     You are on the line up to play at Ultra South Africa what does this mean to you and how does it make you feel?

Its honestly an honour to play at an event like this. Ultra is one of thee biggest & best events in the world, and to be on the line up is absolutely incredible!

5.     What about Ultra stands out for you? To me it’s a combination of the dj line up the production in the show & the crowd! Every year Ultra tries to outdo themselves from the previous year & it shows cause their production is amazing.

6.     What can fans expect from your set at Ultra South Africa?

I’ll plan a very special set for Ultra, Exclusive material that most people haven’t heard from me yet, 1 or 2 new ones especially for Ultra as well.

7.     In your opinion what does Ultra South Africa mean for South Africa’s electronic music scene?

Big things are happening for the Electronic music scene and they have been over the past couple of years. This shows by the frequency of international acts/parties we are getting. Having  Ultra come to SA shows that we can host the best festivals from around the world! BRING MORE!

8.     Where do you see the electronic music scene in South Africa in 5 years time?

It’s honestly just gonna get bigger and better! Soon all the festivals will have a South African version, Tomorrowworld, EDC, Mysterland, and more!

9.     Have you ever been lucky enough to attend Ultra Music Festival in Miami if yes what was the experience like for you, if not would you like to attend and why? Unfortunately not yet! But one day!

10. Lastly what does Soul Candi represent for you

Soul Candi is my home, I receive a lot of support from them and they helping me grow as an artist! They are truly a great record label.
