Beatenberg & DJ Clock - Pluto (Remember You) (Review)

Oftentimes music brings together a combination of creative artists you didn't know you needed until you first tasted the fruits of their collaborative process. The results, sometimes so blindingly obvious, you're left wondering how it had not happened sooner. Such is case with 'Pluto (Remember You)' the result of a collaboration between Cape Town-based band, Beatenberg and DJ Clock, a firm feature in the local dance scene.

What they've essentially created here is an easy-going pop song with light flourishes of house, perfect for winding down the last lingering moments of the summer. Its minimalistic production and almost melancholic vocals make it easily accessible, bordering on mainstream radio appeal while satisfying the refined palette of the local house fan. A warm, charming addition to any playlist, expect this to complement that perfect, instagram'esque sunset drive up the coast.
